The advent of fall brought with it the finishing touches to our remodel of the Depot, formally a broken-down building used for storage and now a spectacular venue for location photography, meetings, special events, weddings, and more. Among its first events was a special pre-Thanksgiving dinner for our ranch friends, families, and staff. We enjoyed the sundown views, ate until we were ready to burst, and had a thoroughly wonderful time. If the upcoming year holds any special events for you, give us a call. We have plenty of open dates and can accommodate up to 70 people.

Our winter tour season is just getting underway, and among our early bird visitors was a lovely couple with their 10-year old son. We toured the ranch, did some metal detecting, visited the animals, and enjoyed a great lunch from Aspen Mills. After our part was complete, the family stopped by at the Southern California Mini-Horse Rescue, now on the middle portion of our property, to see the miniature horses, donkeys, cows, and other animals. The tour was a smashing success, and our thanks go out to the Ritz-Carlton concierge community for their gracious recommendation.

In November we also welcomed two new rescue Livestock Guardian Dogs to the ranch. This little guy below in 8 week old Poet. He is an Armenian Gampr.

The big boy is a 1 year old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd named Bandit. They have become best friends.
